Karine Hannah: "Marquee"

Big happenings at 2C Studios in Brooklyn, if I say so meeseself. The fabulamous Karine Hannah will be recording vocals today for "Marquee," a dark, sparse song of desolation (oh yeah, and ultimately hope), which Ayhan Sahin and Dennis Delgaudio wrote and arranged. Keyboards, cello & voice. Dat's it. Can't wait to hear it unfold, measure by measure.And a hearty howdy to Mehmet, just in from Istanbul, who will be interning at 2C Studios for the next two weeks.


Yup, I cried... quietly and with dignity. Karine Hannah stepped into the vocal booth, moistened her lips and ripped through her vocal recording of title track "Marquee" for her upcoming third solo album, produced and arranged by DNA (Ayhan Sahin & Dennis Delgaudio). Wish I could play it for you now, cool cats, but we all have to wait a few more months... believe meese, it kills.In the house: Dennis, 2C intern Mehmet, meese, Karine & Ayhan.
