Goodbye My Friend Dear Kirby...

This morning we said farewell to our beloved 18-year-old Maltese Kirby, who we rescued six years ago. She was a tough lady when she came to us, testy and determined— at all of 4.5 pounds. An impossible day, but we are at peace with the fact we provided her a comfortable home with unconditional love. In god's hands, may she again run like the wind.

Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.

When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.

All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.

They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.

You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.

Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together....

ITALIAN SINGER GABRIELA TORRES RECORDS "ONE LIE" IN ITALIAN

Gabriela Torres al suo esordio discografico

Inizia con un contratto discografico con la Tam Record la carriera artistica di Gabriela Torres.

La cantante italo messicana ha da poco infatti firmato per l'uscita del suo primo singolo "Por amarte asi", una cover della hit degli anni '80 del suo connazionale Cristian Castro prodotta e riarrangiata da Tony Amodio.

L'uscita del singolo e' prevista nel mondo in tutti i piu' grandi Megastores Internazionali per venerdi 27 agosto;

Gabriela e' pero' gia' in studio per la lavorazione del suo primo album insieme col team della TAM RECORD.
Tra le prime collaborazioni certe del disco quella con il produttore neworkese Ayhan Sahin e Dennis Del Gaudio (chitarrista dell'ultimo tour americano di Billy Joel) che parteciperanno al disco con un brano inedito scritto per Gabriela.

Two exhibits delve into the process of artistic-intellectual expression with non-traditional mediums and/or crossover techniques. Several artists are taking the bold step of considering new mediums and presenting their new creations in mew mediums for the first time

Karine Hannah will be singing songs like "Camouflage," "Something More Than Sideways," "One Lie," "No Good In Goodbye," "Marquee" from her new album with DNA as well as cover tunes like "I Believe" and "The Color of the Night"

Thanks to God I have been blessed to collaborate with great people with awesome talents some of them are: Placido Domingo, Yomo Toro, Cucco Peña, Cuto Soto, Charlie Sepulveda, Eric Figueroa, Michael Stuart, Gisselle, Daniela Droz, Fe Cortijo, William Cepeda, Mike Arroyo, Ito Serrano, Melissa, Cristofonia (Raquel, Gloria Montalvo, Dagmar Cardona Alfredo Pabon), Claudinna Brinn, Steve Green, Billy Graham, Larry Harlow, Adalberto Santiago, Giovanni Hidalgo, Dave Valentin, Furito Rios, Boricua College Choir, Abe Lind Oquendo, Bayrex Jimenez, Sophy, Millie Corretjer, Eddie Rivera and... let me continue in another time. I studied bel canto with the greats Abraham Lind Oquendo, Adolph Dickens and Edgardo Gierbolini (r.i.p). I have participated of some of the Jazz summercamps of Berklee in Puerto Rico and the International Vocal Art Institute. I want to sing with anyone, any kind of good creative music, learn as much as I can, (and I know I can learn a lot) and share what I know in the process. Meeting with Astoria Boulevard



Astoria Boulevard is an indie-folk/pop band, led by Dan Scott and Philip Drennen. Their influences range from classic artists of the 60's and 70's such as Simon and Garfunkel, and The Beatles, to modern folk, pop and indie artists like Ingrid Michaelson and Jason Mraz. Dan and Philip formed Astoria Boulevard in 2009 after spending the better part of a year together on the road with a touring theater production. Dan began playing the ukulele and soon the duo started to write songs while on the road. Upon their arrival back to NYC, they began playing shows around, Manhattan, Brooklyn, and Queens. Astoria Boulevard recently recorded their debut EP One of These Days, which is now available online and at gigs.
