Bianca back in the studio
It was good to be back in the studio with Bianca Marroquin today in the midst of a busy month where she is touring with the musical "Chicago" in Chicago, Denver and Toronto playing Roxie Hart.
She stopped by New York and we had a very productive 3 hour session where we recorded 4 new tracks, including "No Mas" (Spanish version of "One Lie") and a new composition "Taboo."
Marroquin also played piano on her own composition "No Pierdas Fe En Mi."
Stay tuned for the latest news from her album recordings.

STRINGS ADDED TO TRACKS ON BIANCA MARROQUIN'S UPCOMING ALBUM
It was a hectic day at 2C Studios yesterday, as we were recording string parts arranged by Tom Gallaher for Bianca Marroquin's upcoming album. Marshall Coid on violin and Danny Miller on cello laid down many harmonic parts through the entire afternoon conducted by Gallaher. As Marroquin phrased it later when she heard the recordings, "the strings dressed the tracks up beautifully."
Among the four songs that we recorded, probably "Marquee" received the most dramatic face over with a beautiful pace through piano and violins and cellos dominated by Marroquin's strong vocals.
The other tunes that we recorded strings were "El Mundo Era Mio," "Extraordinary You" (working title) and "Salvame."
The recordings will continue this coming Thursday.
